Rosewood // Porcelain

$180.00

The espaliered roses at Sissinghurst Garden in Kent County, England were the inspiration behind Rosewood, the namesake print in our third collection. The ancient horticultural technique of espalier was developed by the Romans, and refined throughout Europe during the middle ages. By training fruit trees and other woody branches to grow up a trellis, gardeners were able to produce fruit inside of a castle courtyard, as well as create decorative interest inside of walled monastery gardens.
